Introduction of Hawai'i Okinawa Alliance: ハワイ・オキナワ アライアンスの紹介

The Hawai`i Okinawa Alliance (or, HOA -"friend" in Hawaiian) is an network of Uchinanchu (Okinawans) and allies in solidarity for the advancement of international peace, indigenous/human rights, social justice and ecological sustainability.

Given the parallel histories of the Uchinanchu and Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians), we maintain solidarity in our collective struggles for demilitarization and decolonization.

HOA recognizes strength in diversity, and welcomes allies of all backgrounds founded in the principles of self-determination, mutual respect, gender equity, democratic process, nonviolence, and shared leadership by affected constituency.

HOA is the progressive voice of the Uchinanchu diasporic community in Ka Pae `Aina o Hawai`i Nei (Hawaiian Islands/Nation).

The Hawai`i Okinawa Allianceハワイ・オキナワアライアンス（頭文字をとってHOAと呼びます。－また、HOAとは、ハワイ語で「友達」という意味です。）はウチナーンチュのネットワークであり、世界の平和や、先住民族の権利、社会正義と環境の保全の向上のために連帯する集まりです。
ウチナーンチュとカナカマオリ（ハワイ先住民）の類似する歴史を踏まえ、私たちは共通する苦難の中、非軍事化と非植民地化のために連帯します。
HOAは多様性が力であると考え、全てのバックグラウンドとの連帯を歓迎します。HOAは自己決定の原理、相互理解、ジェンダーの公平性、民主的なプロセス、非暴力、そして支持団体共同のリーダーシップを信条として設立されました。HOAはKa Pae `Aina o Hawai`i Neiカパエ　アイナ　オ　ハヴァイイ　ネイ（*ハワイ語で、ハワイの島々と国をさす）においてのウチナーンチュディアスポラ（沖縄系移民）コミュニティの進歩的な表現者です。
