沖縄タイムス社はシンポジウム「なぜ沖縄か？～日米同盟を問う」を開催します。鳩山由紀夫首相が米軍普天間飛行場の移設先を名護市辺野古とし、その根拠に挙げた在沖米海兵隊の「抑止力」や日米同盟の在り方について議論を深めます。
